The 9th SEETAC Project and Steering Committee Meeting

The 9th SEETAC Project and Steering Committee Meeting was held on 26th and 27th June 2012 in Vienna in the premises of the Austrian Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology. With regard to the advanced schedule of the project this meeting is the last formal technical meeting before the finalisation of the project.  So it focussed on closing some of the WPs and identifying the remaining work for the other WPs.

SEETAC results showcased during the SEE Annual Event and 9th SEETAC project meeting in Vienna

The SEETAC project was presented during the South East Europe (SEE) Programme Annual event in Bologna on the 29th June 2012. The SEETAC project had a dedicated stand in the SEE Projects fair and the event represented an excellent opportunity for disseminating SEETAC main results among the numerous participants and networking with relevant stakeholders.

SEETAC first results presented at CETRA 2012 in Dubrovnik (Croatia)

In Dubrovnik (Croatia), on May 6th until the 9th, the second Conference on Road and Rail Infrastructure (CETRA 2012) was successfully held. The Conference, a central event concerning road and railway infrastructure organised by the Faculty of Civil Engineering Department for Transport of the University of Zagreb, gathered 213 participants from around the world and was organized in 25 thematic sessions for the presentation of 145 papers and 15 posters.

Transport ministers will cooperate to ensure Danube navigability

On the initiative of the EU Commission, the Transport Ministers of the river states of the Danube met for the first time on 7th June in Luxembourg with the goal to avoid the risk of new navigation standstills on the river.
